From Passion to Impact


Polyphonica Recorder Trio is dedicated to providing workshops on recorder playing and performance practice to people of all ages and abilities through festivals, summer schools and other workshops. The trio gives an annual residential weekend workshop at Knuston Hall, Northamptonshire. Workshops can be designed for specific subject areas and skill level or mixed ability groups. With three tutors, participants experience a variety of tuition styles through small and large ensembles as well as individual coaching. There will be the opportunity to work in ensembles of various sizes and also to further develop technique. There will also be the option to take individual coaching with a member of Polyphonica and hear them perform a recital on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately this course is not for complete beginners and participants are encouraged to bring recorders of different sizes.
